From offering business advice, to helping determine the profitability of business decisions, this department plays an important role across the organization.

    Our Administration team is located across the organization and works to ensure that details are handled. Team members provide a broad range of support from preparing packages for our clients, updating member information in our system and ensuring contracts, communications and files are accurate, all with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

  • Claims

    Our Claims department plays a vital role in reviewing benefit terms and plan details to process health, dental and travel claims accurately and efficiently in order to provide the best experience possible for our clients. The team works with our network of providers, government agencies and industry associations to stay up-to-date and current on market trends and regulatory requirements.

  • Corporate Services

    Almost everything that comes into or out of our office does not happen without the support of our Corporate Services team.  This team is vital to ensuring our day-to-day operations flow smoothly by sorting, prepping, scanning, printing, routing and delivering mail and supplies to the right people at the right time. They are also integral to ensuring that our building equipment and facilities support a productive, safe and professional environment.

  • Customer Service Contact Centre

    We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service. Whether you’re contacting our Customer Service Contact Centre by phone, writing us an email, or visiting us in-person at our Saskatoon or Regina office, our team is passionate about helping people and will respond to your questions about products, services or any other inquiries in a friendly and caring manner.

  • Disability Management

    Our dedicated, passionate and caring team in Disability Management play a vital role in providing a full range of professional short and long-term disability, life claims, critical illness, and other related claims services to clients. They liaise with medical professionals, rehabilitation consultants, clients and employers to ensure claims are managed accurately and efficiently. They also develop and manage safe and effective return to work programs for those who are unable to work due to illness or injury.

  • Human Resources

    Our Human Resources team is integral to supporting and developing an engaging work environment and supports both our employees and leadership team in fostering a high-performance culture. They develop programs and strategies to attract, retain and further develop a team dedicated to our customers, clients and communities.

  • Information Systems & Technology (IS&T)

    The IS&T department provides technical and development services, consultation, direction and support for operational decisions related to ever-changing technological needs. They oversee the installation and maintenance of our computer network systems.  Ensuring our systems are secure and functional are key aspects of the work this department does, allowing our employees to effectively perform their work and provide our clients best in class service.

  • Marketing & Community Relations

    Saskatchewan Blue Cross provides comprehensive health care coverage focused on supporting the improved health and wellness of the people of Saskatchewan. Our Marketing & Community Relations team educates Saskatchewan residents about our products through marketing and advertising initiatives. Additionally, they lead our efforts to give back to the community.

    Managing information is the basis of our business and we are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients and employees. Our Privacy & Compliance Office is responsible for ensuring policies and practices are in place following industry standards and legislative requirements and ensures those responsible for handling sensitive information are provided with the appropriate training and education.

    Our Underwriting department assesses and evaluates risk for our various lines of insurance benefits. The team works closely with our Sales team to support corporate sales and business objectives and sets appropriate and fair rates and fees for our clients.
