Moving from Group to Personal Insurance

Whether you’re going through a job change or retiring, if you’re leaving a group/employer benefits plan, you may want to consider converting to a Personal Health Plan. We offer comprehensive, affordable health insurance plans that meet your health care needs now and into the future.

Our conversion plans come with no medical questionnaire but if you’re healthy and have minimal pre-existing conditions, we suggest taking a few moments to check out our other Personal Health Plan options.

We encourage everyone to complete the medical questionnaire because it won’t hurt your chances of qualifying for our guaranteed plan. It will give us all the information we need to present you with all of your options and help you make an informed decision about the level of coverage you need.

After you submit an application for a Personal Health Plan we’ll contact you to go over your options and guide you through the process.

We’re here to help you choose the right plan. Contact us within 60 days of leaving your group/employer benefits plan to ensure there is no interruption in coverage.

Group Life Conversion

Within 31 days of leaving a Saskatchewan Blue Cross Employer Benefits Plan, we'll transition your Basic Group Life insurance, with no medical questionnaire. This product provides coverage for those who would otherwise not qualify for life insurance due to medical history.
