Community Investment is a fundamental part of who we are and integral to how we define organizational success. We’re proud to be a leader in community engagement, investing meaningfully in Saskatchewan communities through our time, finances, resources, energy and spirit to help advance the places we call home.
We know caring about health and wellness is as important to you as it is to us. That’s why, through the “Your Voice, Your Choice” program, we’re directing funds to causes you and your employees care most about.
For the fifth year of this program, we’re asking you to help us allocate $30,000 by selecting one of the organizations below:

- South Saskatchewan Community Foundation – The Truth and Reconciliation Fund

Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan
The Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan (CFS) is raising funds for a second mobile unit containing a new digital mammography machine that will travel in rural Saskatchewan, help expand the capacity of breast cancer screening services across Saskatchewan. The addition of a second mobile mammography unit will allow Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) teams to provide mammography screening services annually to 42 rural and northern communities across Saskatchewan and ensure this service and equipment is available for women in all parts of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation
Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) funds, support and promote the impact of health research that matters to Saskatchewan. Their partnerships, with provincial community organizations like Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation and Lung Sask, are an investment in the hope and unwavering belief that, together, more can be achieved to advance the health outcomes of those we serve. Collaborating with partners helps maximize efficiencies, reduce duplication and increase the impact of health research that matters to Saskatchewan people and the health challenges we face.

Saskatoon Community Foundation
Community Fund for Reconciliation
YVYC Recipient in 2024: $2,083
The Saskatoon Community Foundation team offers a broad understanding of community needs, expertise in planned giving, and the ability to target donations to the areas of greatest importance.
In 2017, the Saskatoon Community Foundation announced the creation of the Community Fund for Reconciliation, committing to grant to initiatives focused on any of the 94 calls to action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations. All funds raised for the Community Fund for Reconciliation will be used to increase the Community Fund for Reconciliation Grants.

South Saskatchewan Community Foundation
The Truth and Reconciliation Fund
YVYC Recipient in 2024: $1,250
The South Saskatchewan Community Foundation is committed to and strives to improve the quality of community well-being for all our members and in creating healthy and resilient communities.
The Truth & Reconciliation Fund (TRF) has been established to advance initiatives that support the Truth & Reconciliation Calls to Action.
The fund is intended to address programs that will help advance the Truth & Reconciliation Calls to Action in the areas of Education, Culture and Language. For example, this may include opportunities for children, youth and families to reconnect to their culture by providing opportunities such as workshops, events, classes that offer individuals and families connection to Elders, communities, and the Land.

Family Service Saskatoon
Family Service Saskatoon meets the diverse needs of the community by developing and providing programming that creates resilience for individuals and families that need support. Key programming includes counselling services, outreach services, and group therapeutic sessions – all designed to respond to the emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs of clients. We provide approximately 700 hours of group sessions and 3500 hours of counselling annually.

Family Service Regina
Today’s Family Service Regina continues to respond to the changing economic and demographic environment and to create effective services to meet emerging needs. Whether it’s providing counselling services to a family struggling with changing circumstances, providing support to a teen mother facing adult responsibilities, or helping victims of domestic violence find their voice in the criminal justice system, our ambition remains the same: We offer support, hope and opportunities to help people grow healthy families and strong communities.
