Meet Rob Chitrakar, Group Benefits Manager

Rob joins Saskatchewan Blue Cross as manager, Group Benefits, bringing more than 20 years of experience in group benefits underwriting, insurance operations and leadership.

Most recently, he was a manager for Group Underwriting with Medavie Blue Cross. In that role, he led a team of senior underwriters and underwriting leaders and worked closely with sales, actuarial and service teams to support growth, retention and strong client outcomes.

His experience includes underwriting and sales leadership, compliance and large-scale business transformation. He holds an MBA, a Risk Management designation and a Lean Six Sigma certification.

In his new role, Rob will lead the Group Benefits account executive, service and support teams. He will focus on delivering strong advisor and client experiences while supporting continued business growth.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring healthcare innovation ventures and experiencing new cultures.
