Unlock more earning potential in 2026: Introducing the Group Block of Business Bonus Plans

Saskatchewan Blue Cross is pleased to introduce the 2026 Group Block of Business Bonus Plans, effective January 1, 2026. Built with our valued Group Advisors in mind, this program rewards you for the strength of your relationships, your dedication to client support and the growth of your Saskatchewan Blue Cross group block.

These annual bonus opportunities are designed to recognize two core drivers of Advisor success: growing your business and retaining the clients who trust you year after year. Whether you are expanding your portfolio or providing long-term guidance to existing clients, the bonus structure puts more earning power in your hands.

What the 2026 Bonus Plans include

Growth bonus

The Growth Bonus rewards you for the new business you bring to Saskatchewan Blue Cross. This includes new groups, new sections and new lines of benefits. Depending on your annualized growth percentage, you can earn an incentive between 5 percent and 15 percent of your annualized first-year commission.

Retention bonus

The Retention Bonus recognizes your commitment to long-term partnership. Based on your year-over-year retention rate and your total annualized premium, you can earn an additional percentage ranging from 0.05 percent up to 1.0 percent. This reward highlights the value of supporting clients with service, consistency and trusted advice.

Who qualifies

To qualify for the 2026 Bonus Program, Advisors must have:

  • A standard or non-standard commission agreement in place
  • At least 10 active Saskatchewan Blue Cross cases on January 1 following the qualification year
  • A minimum of two new groups added during the year, totalling at least 50,000 dollars in new annual premium
  • At least 500,000 dollars in annualized premium by January 1

Only risk business qualifies. HSA, ASO, fee for service and retention-only accounts are excluded from bonus calculations.

Transparency and client care

Our commitment to transparency remains central. Advisors must provide clients with full and meaningful disclosure of commissions and compensation related to Saskatchewan Blue Cross products. Doing so helps clients make informed decisions and strengthens the trust that supports long-term business growth.

For Advisors who qualified for the 2025 Bonus Program, payments will be issued in early Q2.
