If I purchased Top-up coverage, how many days should I purchase? 

When an active “avoid all non-essential travel” or “avoid all travel” Government of Canada travel advisory is issued, it may be difficult for Canadians to get home. We recommend purchasing for an extended period, knowing that if you return early, you can request a reimbursement for the unused portion of your trip.

The Top-up coverage will provide you with coverage, regardless of the travel advisories in place. However, all other exclusions and limitations listed in the Top-up policy will apply.
