The Big 8 Wishes of Wellness

GIVEAWAY PERIOD 

The Saskatchewan Blue Cross “Big 8 Wishes of Wellness” Giveaway (“Giveaway”) commences June 15, 2026 at 9:00am CST and ends on September 7, 2026 at 11:59pm CST (the “Giveaway Period”). This Giveaway is sponsored by Saskatchewan Blue Cross (the “Sponsor”). 

ELIGIBILITY 

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the province of Saskatchewan and must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 

This Giveaway is not open to employees of Saskatchewan Blue Cross, its holding company or its subsidiaries and their immediate families or persons with whom the employee is domiciled. The Giveaway is open to Saskatchewan Blue Cross partners including advisors.

GIVEAWAY RULES 

No purchase necessary. Limit of one (1) entry during the Giveaway Period per person. By entering this Giveaway, the entrant agrees to accept and abide by these rules and regulations (the “Giveaway Rules”).  All decisions of the Giveaway Sponsor with respect to any aspect of this Giveaway, including without limitation the eligibility of wishes, are final and binding on all entrants. 

By entering the Giveaway, each entrant consents to the use of their name and any other submitted content, including their wellness wish and any accompanying photos or videos, without compensation, in any publicity or advertising carried out in any medium worldwide by the Giveaway Sponsor and its advertising or promotional agencies, without further notice. 

Any entry may be rejected at the sole discretion of the Giveaway Sponsor if it is incomplete, does not include all required information, is not submitted and received during the Giveaway Period, or contains content that is inappropriate or does not comply with these rules. 

PRIZE 

There are eight (8) prizes available to be won in the Giveaway (the “Prize”). Eight (8) eligible winners will each receive $1,000 CAD. 

Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Giveaway rules during the Giveaway Promotional Period. 

Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, assigned or refunded. Prize may not be substituted for cash. The Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize or prizes of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason. 

THE DRAW 

Saskatchewan Blue Cross will make eight random draws from all eligible entries received.  To be declared a winner the selected entrant must successfully answer a skill testing question.  The Giveaway winners will be selected and formally announced periodically between June 2026 and September 7, 2026. 

Selected Prize entrant(s) will be notified via email within approximately one day of the draw.  If a selected entrant does not respond within three (3) business days of first contact, the Giveaway Sponsor will have the right to disqualify the entrant and another entrant will be randomly selected (from among the remaining eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Giveaway rules) at the sole and absolute discretion of the Giveaway Sponsor. 

If the potential Prize winner is not in compliance with these Giveaway rules, declines the Prize, fails to return the Declaration and Release Form (and any other documents, as applicable) within three (3) business days of Notification or correspondence between the Giveaway Sponsor and potential winner is not responded to or is returned as undeliverable, the Prize may be forfeited by that potential winner and the Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select another potential winner from among the remaining eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Giveaway rules. 

GENERAL 

The decisions of the Giveaway Sponsor and/or the judges are final and binding, without right of appeal, with respect to all aspects of this Giveaway and entrant agrees to abide by the Giveaway rules and all of the instructions and decisions of the Giveaway Sponsor and/or judges. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these Giveaway rules, the decision or interpretation of the Giveaway Sponsor and/or judges shall prevail. 

Saskatchewan Blue Cross is the sole sponsor of this Giveaway. 

Unless otherwise deemed appropriate by the Giveaway Sponsor for the administration of the Giveaway based on the circumstances, no direct communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. Once Prize winner(s) has been verified and confirmed, the Prize winner’s name, wish, photo/video content may be posted across Saskatchewan Blue Cross social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and on the website sk.bluecross.ca. 

Any entry that is late, incomplete, altered, or contains false information, is invalid. The Giveaway Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors collectively, the “Released Parties” are not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected claims or entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any Internet or telephone network or broadcast transmission during the Giveaway Period. 

The Released Parties accept no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by the awarded prizes or the Giveaway itself. By entering, entrant releases and holds harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Giveaway or any prize (or a portion thereof) won. 

Without limiting the release of liability provisions herein, and for greater certainty, the Released Parties will not be liable for: a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Giveaway website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the Giveaway; b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the Giveaway website or any transmission in connection with the Giveaway; c) any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; d) any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of email which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or e) any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Giveaway. If the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause of any nature whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Released Parties which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of this Giveaway, the Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Giveaway, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way. 

The Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any individual from the Giveaway, and to ban that individual from any future promotion of the Giveaway Sponsor, if the Giveaway Sponsor finds or believes such individual to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or where applicable, the Giveaway website; to be acting in violation of the Giveaway rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass the Giveaway Sponsor, the Giveaway Sponsor agencies, other entrants or any other person. 

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE GIVEAWAY SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

Personal information submitted by entrants will be collected by the Giveaway Sponsor for the purpose of administering this Giveaway. Such information may be disclosed to third parties retained by the Giveaway Sponsor to assist in the administration of the Giveaway. Information provided by entrants, such as email address, may be used by Saskatchewan Blue Cross for digital market development and analytical purposes. Entrants may receive marketing communications from Saskatchewan Blue Cross unless they have previously opted out. Consent to receive such communications may be withdrawn at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any marketing email. The Giveaway Sponsor is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information. For further details regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and management of personal information, please refer to Saskatchewan Blue Cross’ Privacy Policy, available at sk.bluecross.ca. 

This Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein. 

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Giveaway rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Giveaway rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. 

The Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other Giveaway mechanics stipulated in these Giveaway rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant or entry with these Giveaway rules, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Giveaway Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Giveaway as contemplated in these Giveaway rules, or for any other reason. 

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Giveaway or Giveaway-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Giveaway rules shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
